2012 | 1 month ago I’m a little late since it’s 1:53pm on the first of January right now, but happy new year!
Spent an amazing night at the countdown yesterday with Priya, at my favourite place with one of my favourite bands, plus fireworks to top it all off.
Meant a lot seeing These Kids Wear Crowns play live again yesterday on New Year’s Eve. The last time I saw them play live, I had no idea who they were and I was blown away by their playing. (Okay just caught the re-telecast of their show last night and it didn’t sound great… But I promise you they sound amazing when you see them live!) I’ll always remember how it felt seeing them play live in that club in Clarke Quay to about 30 people, talking to Alex after the show, what he tweeted to me after… And last night they were back in Singapore for the second time playing to about 30,000 people, on national TV, counting down to the new year. Watching TKWC play was just the perfect way to end off 2011, plus I was really glad they played Lifetime. Perfect song.
So, new year’s resolutions. I don’t have any official ones but I do have a few things in mind I intend to fulfill. 2011 was a great year, and I’m just hoping things are gonna get even better from here on.
